Towards the end of the semester, there were not many classes.

During the day, Liang Zheng went to the library to study independently. In the evening, she will go part time at the restaurant.

The western restaurant where Liang Zheng works part-time is located between several campuses. The business is very good at night. Most of those who went to dinner there were students. There are lovers, friends, and a group of good friends.

After some of the boys finished playing in the basketball room in the Polytechnic room, Zhou Xu went to the stands to get his clothes. He also took a bottle of water on the floor, opened it and drank half of it.

Qin Song came drenched in sweat, “Let’s go eat, I’ve booked a place.”

“Very well, please come in.” Liang Zheng had already memorized the names of several guests who had reserved a place in advance. She helped open the door and bent down to say, “This way please.”

Then she straightened back up and walked ahead to lead the way. Qin Song booked the place on the right by the window, it had a good view and the atmosphere was calmer.

Liang Zheng led the people and smiled as she placed the menu in front of Qin Song. Then she turned to the bar to pick up two additional menus.

When she returned, she placed the two menus in front of Yang Sheng and Zhou Xu one each. When she bent down to put the menu before Zhou Xu, Zhou Xu looked at her. The two of their gazes met each other, for some reason she was stared at like this by Zhou Xu to the point of feeling embarrassed.

When she straightened up again, she somehow didn’t dare to look at Zhou Xu.

After Qin Song ordered food, she pulled back the menu and smiled, “Please wait.”

After speaking, she turned and headed for the kitchen. As soon as Liang Zheng left, Yang Sheng immediately asked Qin Song and Zhou Xu, “How is it? Beautiful, right? Especially when she smiles. Jeez, how beautiful.”

Qin Song leaned back in his chair laughing and said, “If you like it, just go after it.”

Yang Sheng said, “I thought so too. When she comes here, try asking if she has a boyfriend or not.”

Zhou Xu leaned back on the chair. When he heard that, his eyes looked towards Yang Sheng. Yang Sheng saw Zhou Xu saw him, somewhat stunned, “Why?”

Zhou Xu lowered his head and replied lazily, “Nothing.”

After saying that, he suddenly got up and wanted to leave. Qin Song looked up, “Where are you going?”

“Washing hands.”

Liang Zheng went to the kitchen to place an order. When she came out from inside, someone grabbed her wrist and startled her. She immediately turned her head and found that it was Zhou Xu.

She stroked her chest, “It just startled me.”

Zhou Xu glanced at her, let go of his hand and said coldly, “Come over here.”

Having finished speaking, she turned around and walked away first. Liang Zheng followed him, the two of them stood beside the sink. Zhou Xu gave her a fixed look and spoke bluntly, “Running out of money?”

Liang Zheng was stunned, “I have money.”

Zhou Xu stared at her for a while and was lazy to argue with her. He reached out and pulled the wallet out of his pocket. He immediately took out all the money in there and handed it to Liang Zheng, “I don’t have that much money with me, just take it first.”

Liang Zheng didn’t expect that Zhou Xu would give her money. She subconsciously took a step back and put a hand on his back, “What are you doing?”

Zhou Xu stared at her silently. After a while he just said, “Liang Zheng, don’t be so good.”

Liang Zheng said, “I’m not being so good. Your clothes are indeed soiled by me, they can’t be washed clean, of course i have to compensate you.”

Zhou Xu frowned and still handed the money to her. Not forgetting to say, “Take it, don’t starve to death.”

Liang Zheng said seriously, “How could it be. I have legs and arms, how can I starve to death?”

Just when her words fell, two people came out of the bathroom next to her. The two people saw her and Zhou Xu, their gazes flashed ambiguous gaze. The two people whispered to each other. When they stepped outside, they still looked back a few times.

Liang Zheng suddenly became aware of the gazes of the two people. She stepped forward and took Zhou Xu’s hand, saying in a low voice, “Hurry up and save the money! If others see it, they think I’m making an inappropriate deal with you!”

After she finished speaking, she realized that she was too close to Zhou Xu. She was so scared that she immediately let go of Zhou Xu’s hand and ran outside with her head down. Zhou Xu stood there, watching Liang Zheng leave in panic. Remembering her last words, couldn’t help but frown. Inside his brain was thinking strange things.
