Shen Nianshen’s birthday was approaching, Sun Tiantian’s big mission during this winter holiday was to prepare a birthday present for Shen Nianshen.

In order to prepare a present for Shen Nianshen, Sun Tiantian had locked herself in the kitchen for several days.

At ten o’clock in the evening, Lin Jing came home from the office. He just got into the house, he could already hear some noises in the kitchen.

He frowned and looked at his father who was sitting watching TV on the sofa, “What’s that noise?”

Mr. Sun chuckled, “Your sister is messing up the kitchen.”

What kind of mess was for a person who never gets into the kitchen would make?

“Oh, Ah Jing is back.” Mrs. Sun happened to come out of the kitchen carrying fruit and smiled sweetly, “Come here quickly, eat some fruit. I just cut them.”

“Thank you, Mom.” Lin Jing changed his shoes and went inside. As he passed the living room, he glanced to the kitchen, “What’s that kid doing?”

Mrs. Sun smiled happily, “It’s rare for Tiantian to be interested in learning to bake.”

Lin Jing’s brows wrinkled, “… is that cake she made edible?”

“Oh, Ah Jing, you shouldn’t talk like that. It’ll hurt Tiantian’s confidence.”

Lin Jing looked disgusted, “I’ll go upstairs first to change.”

After changing clothes, Lin Jing went downstairs and strode into the kitchen to see Sun Tiantian. Sun Tiantian wore an apron and was putting the cream on the cake in a very serious manner.

But the cake looked really bad. The shape was neither square nor round. The cream was also messy and completely uneven.

Lin Jing walked in and looked at her from the side for some time, “Is this cake for humans to eat?”

Mrs. Sun was sitting watching TV in the living room. She heard the kitchen door closing. She turned around, just when Lin Jing walked out from the kitchen and she asked, “What? You offended our little daughter again?”

Lin Jing, “The cake is really bad, but nobody can make a comment on it.”

Mrs. Sun covered her mouth and smiled, “This is so much better than a few days ago.”

Lin Jing walked into the living room and sat on the sofa. Then he asked, “Who is the cake for?”

Mrs. Sun smiled sweetly, “For Ah Nian. Tiantian said tomorrow is Ah Nian’s birthday.”

Lin Jing, “Ah Nian?”

Mrs. Sun smiled, “Tiantian said, Ah Nian is very kind.”

Lin Jing frowned, “You’ve really considered him a son-in-law?”

Mrs. Sun, “Tiantian likes him. As long as Tiantian likes him, I will like him too.” Then she added, “And you also, don’t interfere too much anymore. Tiantian is an adult now, let her date freely.”

Lin Jing drank a sip of water and rose to his feet, “Mom, you know how our family is doing. Tiantian is too innocent, she could be being used by someone with bad intentions.”

Mrs. Sun, “…”

Lin Jing, “I still have works to do, I’ll go up first.”

“What if I help you?”

“No, Mom. You just rest early.”

Mrs. Sun smiled and said, “Very well. I’ll go up first and rest. When you’re done, you go to bed early. Girls not staying up late.”

“Yes, Mom. Good night.”

After Sun Tiantian urged her mother to sleep, she still tortured herself in the kitchen for more than three hours. At three o’clock in the morning then the cake was ready.

She used some fruit jam to draw two cartoon heads, kissing. It didn’t look like a birthday cake, it looked more like a wedding cake.

Sun Tiantian’s cake was a bit ugly, but fortunately, the pictures were pretty good.

When the cake was done, she put the cake carefully into a box. Then, tied it with the pink ribbon she had bought earlier.

After everything was done, she returned to her room and put on a face mask. When she got into the bed, it was four in the morning.

She sets the alarm, she has to get up at seven in the morning.

Sun Tiantian carried a lot of things, stood outside, and knocked on the door. Shen Nianshen heard the knocking door, he immediately went to open the door.

Shen Nianshen carried the groceries bags into the kitchen and Sun Tiantian followed closely behind him.

Upon entering the kitchen, Sun Tiantian pointed to the pink cake box and said proudly, “I made it myself, you know.”

Shen Nianshen’s eyes were fixed on the box and couldn’t help but smile. He rubbed Sun Tiantian’s head, “Thank you.”

Sun Tiantian chuckled and couldn’t help but hug Shen Nianshen. She looked up, her gaze brightly at Shen Nianshen, “Ah Nian, happy birthday.”

The corners of Shen Nianshen’s lips were turned up and then kissed Sun Tiantian on the forehead, “Thank you.”

He asked again, “Have you had breakfast?”

Sun Tiantian, “Yes, I bought some bread outside and ate them already. And you?”

Shen Nianshen nodded, “Hn.”

After tidying things up, Sun Tiantian came out of the kitchen and headed for the sofa to chat with grandma.

Grandma didn’t want to get in the way of the two interactions and chuckled, “Don’t mind me, you guys have your time, get along together.”

As she spoke, she looked at Shen Nianshen, “Ah Nian, take Tiantian with you.”

Shen Nianshen agreed and took Sun Tiantian’s hand, “Come on, come to my room.”

Sun Tiantian followed Shen Nianshen into his room. As soon as the bedroom door closed, Sun Tiantian couldn’t help but embrace Shen Nianshen’s neck and kiss his lips.

Shen Nianshen hugged her back and smiled, “Very excited?”

Sun Tiantian chuckled happily, “I miss you, Ah Nian.”

Some time ago, Sun Tiantian and her family returned to their hometown. After returning, she was busy with the preparation of Shen Nianshen’s birthday present. The two of them had not seen each other for several days.

Shen Nianshen looked at Sun Tiantian with a gentle gaze, “I miss you too.”

Sun Tiantian grinned and couldn’t help kissing Shen Nianshen again.

After a while, Shen Nianshen slowly let go. His gaze fell onto Sun Tiantian’s wet lips. His breathing was heavy and his Adam’s apple moved, he then lowered his head to kiss her again.

Sun Tiantian was kissed until her brain was lack of oxygen. Her face flushed red and looked at Shen Nianshen. But in the end, she lowered her head shyly.

Shen Nianshen couldn’t help smiling whenever he saw Sun Tiantian shy. He raised his hand and touched Sun Tiantian’s head, then took her hand, “This way.”

He pulled Sun Tiantian to the side of the bed, “Have a seat.”

The bed was very neat and Sun Tiantian could not help lying down.

She laid her head on Shen Nianshen’s pillow, there was a faint mint scent and it was Shen Nianshen’s body scent.

She rolled happily on the bed, “Ah Nian, your bed is very comfy.”

Shen Nianshen sat on the table next to the bed and couldn’t help but laugh, “Isn’t it the same?”

“It’s not the same.” Sun Tiantian was lying on her back and an image suddenly appeared in her mind. She and Ah Nian were sleeping in the same bed … at night she was asleep and the next morning, she would wake up in Shen Nianshen’s arms …

Sun Tiantian grinned and dodged on purpose.

Shen Nianshen held Sun Tiantian’s head and kissed her.

Sun Tiantian chuckled and hugged Shen Nianshen even tighter, “This afternoon, let me do the cooking.”

Shen Nianshen raised his eyebrows, “Do your food edible?”

Sun Tiantian cupped Shen Nianshen’s face with her hands, her eyes twitched, “Don’t underestimate me, okay? I am really great.”

Shen Nianshen smiled and his face was full of affection, “Yes, yes, yes, you are really great. Then, I’ll just wait for the food.”

Sun Tiantian snapped her fingers happily, “No problem!”
